Frequently asked questions

How does pricing work for Status Pages?

EvoHub is usage-based, not per-seat, with free EvoHub tokens every month and no credit card required. A published status page is billed a small flat rate for every hour it's live — the same whatever the traffic. Subscriber notification emails are billed separately, per email. See the Pricing page for the live rate and calculator.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Point a CNAME at your status page and EvoHub provisions and renews a TLS certificate automatically, so your page is served from status.yourcompany.com with no manual certificate work.

Where does the status data come from?

Status pages are powered by your EvoHub Uptime monitors and incidents. Attach a monitor to a component and its health, uptime history, and incidents publish automatically, with no separate data entry.

Can I brand the page as my own?

Yes. Upload your logo and favicon, and choose light or dark — or let the page follow each visitor's own system setting.

How do scheduled maintenance windows work?

Create a maintenance window with a start and end time and the components it affects. It shows up on the page ahead of time, is clearly marked as maintenance rather than an outage, and closes itself out automatically when the window ends.

How do incidents show up on the page?

Publish an incident from EvoHub On-Call to your status page in one step. Its status and updates (investigating, identified, monitoring, resolved) appear on the page automatically as the incident progresses, each with its own shareable permalink. When it resolves you can publish a postmortem too.

Can visitors subscribe to updates?

Yes. Visitors can subscribe by email (double opt-in, one-click unsubscribe) to the whole page or just the products they use; a product they follow keeps covering components you add to it later. Every incident and maintenance update is emailed automatically. There are also RSS and Atom feeds for anyone who prefers a reader.

Can one status page cover several products?

Yes. Group components into products and pick a layout: one list, products that fold into a single line with their status and uptime bar, or a page per product at its own address (status.yourcompany.com/payments) with product cards on the main page.

Can I add an incident that already happened?

Yes. Record it in On-Call with its real start and end times and publish it: it appears in the page's history and calendar on the days it happened, and subscribers are not emailed about something that is already over.

Can I customize the content and SEO?

Add a page description, custom footer, a support link, and privacy/terms links. You can set a Google Analytics tag, control whether the page appears in search results, and pick a 30- or 90-day public history window.
