Email alerts, routed to the right on-call engineer
Open alerts from any tool that can send email — no webhook needed. EvoHub turns each Email alert into an on-call alert, runs it through your escalation policy, and pages people by voice call, mobile push and email.
How the Email integration works
- Create a Email integration in EvoHub On-Call and pick the escalation policy it should notify.
- EvoHub gives the integration its own URL (or inbound address) with a unique key — paste it into Email using the steps below.
- Each Email alert opens an EvoHub alert, and your escalation policy pages the on-call person — then the next step if nobody acknowledges.
- Resolves automatically when a follow-up email says the issue is up, resolved, recovered, or cleared.
Set up Email
Create the integration in EvoHub first — it shows your personal integration URL to paste below.
# This integration gets its own unique inbound address (shown
# after you create it). Configure that address as the alert
# recipient in your monitoring tool — every email it sends there
# opens an alert (subject → title, body → description).
# Auto-resolve: a follow-up email whose subject/body says the
# issue is up/resolved/recovered/cleared closes the matching alert.Email + EvoHub — FAQ
